Hi, I’m Joi Myree Peppers, President of LawMates Legal Staffing & Recruiting.
I created this program because I’ve seen too many talented legal professionals get overlooked — not because they aren’t qualified, but because their résumé doesn’t clearly communicate their value.
Legal hiring is different. The expectations are different. The language is different. And most résumé advice online is generic.

This is a guided, step-by-step course that walks you through building a legal-specific résumé, cover letter, and job search strategy. After you complete the course, you’ll also receive a résumé review from the course instructor (a legal recruiter).
How does the résumé
review work?
Upon enrolling, I will message each student directly with instructions and my email address. Once you complete the course and finalize your résumé, you can email it to me for review. From the date I receive your résumé, I will respond within 5 business days with feedback.
How long does it take to complete?
The course is self-paced. Most students complete it in a weekend, but you can move through it at your own pace.
Will this course guarantee me a job or interviews?
No. Results vary based on individual experience, background, and market demand. This course provides tools, guidance, and recruiter insight to help you present your experience more effectively.
